“The B&B that reaches places that other B&Bs don't”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

As a single wrinkly I took a chance on a holiday staying in the Dunedin. The result was so much more than I expected.
The single room was on the small side but so what.
In all respects the owners and staff set and maintained the highest of standards, a rarity in GB these days. Other reviewers will sing the praises of the location, facilities etc, but of much more importance to me as a single visitor was the ambience.
Somehow it seemed so natural that it would happen. At breakfast there were French, German, Australian, Welsh, Brummies, Londoners et alia and there was an amazing friendliness and exchange of experiences between all groups. This only happens when the nebulous chemistry is right. This only happens when the ambience is right. When it happens it is magic. It was indeed magic. Thanks to John & Linda and staff for causing it to happen.

“First rate!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

We fully enjoyed our stay at this B&B. It was quietly situated on the edge of town, yet still close to beach and shops. Fabulous breakfast, friendly and informative host. Bedroom a lovely size, comfortable and with everything you could possibly need.
We would recommend this accomodation and would stay again

“Excellent! I highly recommend!”

We stayed here for three nights. It was a perfect base for a wonderful holiday. I highly recommend. Staff were friendly, and very informative about the local area.

“Excellent and recommended.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

I was very pleased with my 4 night stay. Room spotlessly clean and well thought out. Location is quiet and under 10 mins walk from the central area and a couple of minutes from the sea front. Central area has plenty of places to eat and a Wetherspoons. On a bus route, but you don't really need that as it's easy enough to walk into the centre. Breakfast excellent with a good range and well cooked and presented. Parking is on street, which worked for me (I parked in the quieter side road opposite). Makes a good base for car-less touring, as the local bus company offer low cost day tickets for touring the area and in season an open-top bus to do so. Or you can buy a rail rover ticket (as I did) for around a tenner a day and use that to tour round Cornwall. Recommended and I shall happily return when next in the area.

“well placed, excellent breakfast friendly and very helpful people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2011

John and his wife were very welcoming even though I arrived late they greeted me with a smile. Breakfast was superb! healthy with lots of fruit and yoghurts. It was quite tricky for me to get back to leeds via newquay airport and John was very helpful in selecting the quickest cheapest train and bus routes back.
The location is excellent not too far from anywhere and far enough for a quiet nights rest. will definately return this year!
