Susan and Simon certainly deserve Camilla House's 5* rating. It's perhaps a 10 minute walk from the rail and bus stations, and the directions on the website are very helpful nonetheless. Situated amongst other B&Bs, Camilla House offers a view of the ocean and is immediately in front of the promenade. The high street and restaurants or perhaps 5 minutes away by foot.

The house is extremely clean and well-decorated, featuring a number of Simon's brilliant photos of Cornwall. Susan eagerly suggested places to visit and to eat during my brief stay--a great help. There is a comfortable lounge room with a computer that comes in handy when planning excursions and finding bus schedules.

The room was fine and was equipped with everything that one would expect in a hotel room. Breakfast was delicious. A selection of juices, yoghurt, and cereals was available, and then a choice of a hot breakfast--the full English was perfect.

Highly recommended, and incredible value for money. Will definitely return next time I'm in Cornwall.

I stayed here with my parents that had come to visit me from Australia and I found the owners to be so accommodating and welcoming. When we arrived they went through a detailed map of where good pubs and restaurants are available and we visiting most of them!!

We all three enjoyed staying here and would heartily recommend it to others.

We stayed here for one night after arriving from the Scillys.
It was great, Susan & Simon were lovely hosts, the room was spot on, fantasic massive bed, a huge double sized power shower,
The hotel was gleaming clean, and smelled gorgeous
Breakfast was very good, we left for the train and home, very satisfied,
We will definitely be staying here in future

We stayed four nights. It was our second visit. By far the best B&B in Penzance. No need for a car. Close to train station, taxi was 3 pounds 50. We walked to quay for day trip to Isles of Scilly, walked to bus depot for visits to Falmouth and St Ives. Walked to local retaurants.
