The Rockit Surf Lodge in Newquay is brilliant! We needed a room(s) for 7 people at very late notice because of complications with the hotel we first booked into.
They gave us two rooms for the seven of us, the first night four people had to stay in a three person room but they made up for that by giving spare duvets and making sure the fourth person was comfortable. Then the next day the four people were moved into a four person room and we started to settle in.
The staff were always friendly and up for a chat, if you had a question about anything they'd try and answer it for you. Some of the people within our group are surfers and were able to find out how the surf was simply by asking the staff.
The food was of a high quality and if you fancied a 5am snack then they wouldnt mind making it for you, whatever time it was.
They also dont have a curfew time so you can roll in at whatever time you wanted and be greeted with a smile from the staff members or even carry on partying at the bar until the early hours.
The rooms were also of a high quality, they were clean and nicely presented, the only slight downfall of our room was the tiny shower but we had an attic room so didnt expect it to big and there are also 3 clean communal showers that we used instead of our room shower.
Not only were the staff friendly but the casual chill out area in the bar was perfect for meeting new people and even getting to know members of your own group more.

By the end of our 7 day stay we were all quite upset to be leaving the hotel and all of the friendly staff, but also glad to be going home. I think we're going to make it a yearly visit.
I would reccomend anybody that wants a laugh or even a chill out holiday to stay at The Rockit, its prices are excellent and you're definatley going to have a good time there.
