A very clean B&B used on our travels through cornwall. The views were great from the top floor/attic front room. Car parking ok with a 'residents' permit just round the corner. The Guest house was at the top of a hill so may be a problem for some visitors - ok for us and a nice walk into town and back, although we used it mainly as a base for visiting areas of cornwall. Very clean throughout and the breakfast was great. Colin the owner seems a little fidgety in the presence of guests, but he is a great bloke once you get to know him. A+ Accomm.

I'd pre booked accommodation at another B&B but it was unclean and depressing and found the Danes by walking past it. I was very impressed. The house is elevated and has wonderful views front and back of the harbour and beach, and is only minutes walk to the international surfing beach. Colin the proprietor was most helpful and knowledgeable and the room was just perfect for me as a single. Everything was immaculately clean and the room very well equipped. I found the pillows a little flat, but that may be personal preference.The breakfast was generous and very tasty. I would definately recommend The Danes.
