expensive for a cupboard!! very very disappointed!! There web site is good. But they should tell you how small the rooms are, no towels,wardrobe, no space. you have to vet the room , and give them a deposit, its a joke!!!

This hostel tried to market itself as 'cutting edge' and will all mod cons, in reality, it is possibly the worst place I have ever stayed in. This couldn't seem so bad if it was good value, but for a tiny bunk bed in a cramped, ill equipped room, it was very expensive.
The plasma screens they boast about on the website are all well and good, if you want to stand in the corridor watching TV - if you actually want to watch TV in your room, you will probably struggle as the TV was only visable from 2 of the 5 beds.
The rooms were cramped and hot. There was no floor space or space to store luggage. No mirror, wardrobe or even a shelf or hooks.
The staff were rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. I cannot believe that many (if any?) of the rooms have a sea view, ours had a view of the bins and rear yard.
The check in process is ridiculously tedious and sets the tone for the entire stay.

I definately would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Id always fancied going to Newquay, so when the time came to organise my Hen party my heart was set on coming to the one place id always wanted to come, After looking at various places on the net to stay, the Reef Surf Lodge by far was the first that stood out to me and i knew that my mind was made up! The lady i spoke to when making my booking was just as excited as me, she was very helpful and very friendly to talk to, when we arrivied at the Reef lodge, it looked amazing and the decor was very modern and funky! We stayed for 3 nights and had 3 surf lessons as a package which again was well worth the money, me and the girls had such a laugh! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, from the day we arrived to the day we departed, the staff at Reef made us all feel very welcome! I had such a great time (Just wish i could do it all over again!!) I will definilety be visting here again in the near future!! :)

rooms were supersmall, without any facilities (except tv) at all.we were staying in the middle week, and bar was not open even once.
