We have just come back from the Corisande Manor Hotel. The location is second to none and the room we had was very nice.
The food is advertised as AA Rosette - however, we both felt that it was rather bland at times. Granted the chef was very health conscious but it would have been nice to have had a choice between flavoured food or otherwise. Breakfast was very basic - although adequate. We never left the dinner table feeling hungry but nor did we feel fully satisfied . Having said that, David was a very friendly and informed host who did his best to keep the conversation going (even if it was during our meal)!

We will not be returning to Corisande Manor - which is a shame because as I have said the location was perfect. We didn't feel we had value for money - no options for breakfast (i.e. choice of either fried or scrambled egg. Mushrooms, black pudding, beans etc were not on offer and for the price we think we should have had a choice). However this is just our opionion (and the opinion of the other couple staying there) and I am sure others would differ!
