On our arrival, together with my boyfriend, we were "welcomed" by a woman - presumably owner of the hotel (she didn't bother to introduce) surprised to see two male having booked double-bed room...."I expected a couple" was her comment. Cheeky mere!
To add an insult, we were warned by her to be quiet after 10pm and not to slum the doors as there were children on the same floor...!!! Also we were cautioned not to bring own food nor alcohol to the bedroom. (Off course we did). We felt as if we spoke to landlady showing us the room to rent and not the hotellier welcoming their guests. Customer service course highly recommended madam!!!
The breakfast (served only for half an hour!!!) experience left a lot be desired....the waiter was as dull and boring as the whole tired 60s / 70s deco . The full english tasted as if it was prepared an hour earlier and tasted like [--].
Apart from excellent views and very friendly cleaning lady (she should run this circus!!), everything else including uncomfortabe bed and shared toilets/shower rooms left a very unpleasant impresion on us.
