I arranged a stag do for 10 guys in July 2011, with Hotel Sunnyside recommended by Eclipse Leisure in Brighton. It's the perfect choice for groups, the young and the young at heart! This hotel isn't about luxury, space, exciting little trinkets on your pillow etc.... Instead it does EXACTLY what it says on the tin (well, website) VERY well.
The staff and location are excellent, as are the rooms. Yes, they're small, but anyone who has done their homework should know that anyway. This is all about a place to crash with a laid back athmosphere - anyone who moans about deposits, noise, lack of car parking or having no 'proper facilities' should have looked on Trip Advisor first. Well done to everyone at Sunnyside for being refreshingly different. We'll be back!

Loved this hotel, chic modern décor and very tidy rooms. Newquay a very fun town too.

I booked here via groupon from myself and my husband. It was a fab deal with a surfing lesson thrown.
yes the rooms were basic but this was far outwayed by the location, friendliness and relaxed aptmosphere of the place.
Sandy was lovely and very helpful nothing was too much trouble and Kirsty worked very hard from cleaning windows to serving breakfast in the morning.
I will most definately stay here again as the access to the surf is superb. once the car is parked you do not have to get back into it until you go home (unless you are sight seeing that is). If you are looking for a relaxed stay and somewhere to just sleep and get changed this is the place. Walking ditsnce from the cinema and all the shops and resturants in Newquay

I loved this hotel and would definately go back. The staff are warm and friendly especially sandy. The rooms are clean and well presented but bathrooms need updating, which we were told were being done for next year. The location far outways the petty grievance of an outdated bathroom! The hotel is in a prime position for the beach, shopping and nightlife. See you next year!
