“Fantastic Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

My wife and I stayed in the Falmouth Hotel over the weekend, taking advantage of the "Classics" offer.

Having had our wedding reception here many years ago, and having stayed here many times since, I can only say that the hotel is getting better and better.

From arrival to departure the staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful, a real credit to the hotel.

We stayed in room 402 which appeared to have been refurbished recently, it felt like pure luxury! The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was amazing.

Compliments must go to the chef, we enjoyed a three course evening meal and we could not fault the food, it was very tasteful and portions plentiful.

i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Falmouth.

Room Tip: Great sea views if you can get a room facing the front.

“An Enjoyable Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

My daughter and I stayed at The Falmouth Hotel for one night on 30th January 2012. We were made welcome from the start. On our arrival, late afternoon we were told about a special offer for dinner, costing £20 each for 3 courses, so we booked. We weren't disappointed, the food was wonderful. Our twin room was comfortable and quiet. I had a full English breakfast the following morning, which set me up for the day. I would definitely stay at the Falmouth again.

“Never Disappointing!”

We are touring Cornwall and were pleased to find a Richardson Hotel in Falmouth, having spent time at two of the groups other Hotels The Grand at Torquay & Fowey Hotel in Fowey and never been disappointed,

we booked for Sunday lunch, a lovely three course lunch with a traditional but imaginative menu, cooked to perfection, lovely relaxing atmosphere topped by an unrivalled view of Falmouth bay, quintessentially English throughout,

“A delightful stay; exceptionally pleasant hotel and staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

We stayed at the Falmouth Hotel on spec for one night on 2 January. The charming Receptionist immediately told us about a special offer including dinner, and took us up to choose a room. It was huge, very comfortably furnished, lovely sea view over the beach, ships out at sea, and Pendennis Castle. We enjoyed tea in the bar, an excellent dinner, and a real breakfast - and the following morning I enjoyed a swim in their leisure facilities. It's an old-fashioned hotel, in an outdated grand style, but we love this sort of place, and felt very much at home. We shall certainly stay in the Falmouth Hotel on other occasions.

Room Tip: A Superior room with sea view cost a bit more than a Standard room - but well worth the difference.
