We stayed at the Anacapri for one night in early December. It was wet and blowing a gale but the room was very cosy and the bed comfortable. One of the best bathrooms we have had in this price range and it was spotless. Breakfast was nice. The view was special, we could see people swimming in the sea in the morning even though it was so cold! Great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

The bathroom was very small but apart from that the place is lovely and clean with breathtaking views. No complaints with breakfast. On the whole a very nice stay.

I dont understand how anyone can be negative about this lovely hotel. I have stayed in much worse hotels where I've paid much more money and had lower standards.
The welcome was warm and friendly and first impression was good. The sea view room was spotless and well decorated. It was blowing a gale so the view of the sea was very dramatic. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely ( we didnt eat again until teatime!). We would highly recommend Anacapri and we will definatley return.
The gillybeach cafe just over the road serves lovely food and is well worth a visit as is olivers restaurant in the town

We stayed at Anacapri the same time last year and found it to be a very appealing B&B with a fantastic location and very clean so we decided to return and booked a superior room with a sea veiw. The room was clean and well presented, however, the shower room was very small and very difficult to move around in. Due to bad weather we continually had a gust of wind coming through the doors underneath the sink which was unpleasant particularly when stepping out of the shower.
As one other person has commented on we would have liked another easy chair by the window and we were also disappointed with maid service. One day we returned to our room to find as though the bed was made in a hurry as the throw was on the floor together with the cushions, there was also a film of dust by the time we left.
Breakfast was adequate, tea was not as hot as we would have liked and staff were ok but not overly friendly.
The views are the main attraction with this B&B and although we had a pleasant stay I do not think we shall return again.
