“The perfect B&B for a break!”

We picked this place after seeing good reviews for it - and we weren't disappointed one bit. From the moment we arrived we knew it was a good choice. A warm welcome from the manager, Hicham, was a good sign. We were shown to our room which was lovely - warm and clean. Nice touches such as complimentary bottled water in the fridge, M&S soap and bubble bath in the bathroom and a proper full-sized hairdryer! Our beds were comfy and there was plenty of space in the room to move about. A good sized TV is always a good thing too. There is plenty of choice for breakfast - I'm a fickle eater but the vegetarian full English was just brilliant. Hicham said 'feel at home' and we did. Other little features worthy of mention - a good car park, complimentary sherry for guests and umbrellas for those rainy Northern days! Highly recommended - just how a B&B should be! xx

“A wonderful B&B and a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights just after Christmas. We were a mixed bunch (age range 18 months - 70) and we had 6 rooms. They were all really clean and had all the trimmings you would would expect from a good quality B&B. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and, as a vegetarian, I can honestly say it was the best veggie breakfast I have had in a hotel/B&B.
The staff were always happy to help and gave us a good suggestion about going out for meal (one that would suit all of us) and it was in the next street (The Faulkner - Pizza/Pasta place). We also discovered another gem next door to The Faulkner and this was an Indian restaurant (Hoole?????) and it suited us all. They were happy to seat 13 of us and attend to our diverse food choices!!! The food was wonderful for veggies and all the meat eaters were really happy too.
The location was ideal - a reasonable walk into town but one that we managed easily.
I would recommend this B&B to all and is ideal for a family group.

“Great hotel, friendly staff and value for money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

I stayed at the hotel on a work visit. I was new to the area and was made to feel very welcome upon arrival and was pleasantly surprised with my room which was large, clean and had all amenities you would need. I had a great experience and have subsequently rebooked for another stay for my next visit.

“As described”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

This hotel is lovely and well within walking distance from the town centre. The room was large, clean and nice bed. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Pick the large family room as there was lots of space.
