We had a great weekend at Homeleigh. Only a 15 min stroll to the city,10 mins to a good pub and 10 mins to the racecourse. Considering location it's very good value, we were only charged £60pn even though it was race weekend.

Fantastic cooked breakfast, probably the best I've ever had at a B&B, and gorgeous homemade jams & marmalades. Lovely hospitality tray in our room with the tea, coffee, hot chocolate, posh biscuits and on one occassion yummy homemade chocolate cupcakes!

My only gripe was that our room (room 11) didn't have a shower, just a bath with shower mixer taps, but this really didn't bother us at all. Just made washing my hair a little awkward.

All in all, I loved staying here and will hopefully be back one day.

Owners were kind and accommodative. Breakfast was very good. Family room was OK, however beds were a bit old and carpet was certainly tired.

We are so glad we found this Guest House. We have been travelling to Chester every 4/6 weeks to visit my family for the last 18 months.We have stayed in various accomadations during this time but Nothing compares to Homeleigh !
We had the Family room for the four of us and where surprised at how spacious it was and ever so comfortable.
We had a view overlooking the wonderfull gardens ( for which they have won numerous awards) they even have chickens ! My 4yr old grad daughter loved them and was able to play in the huge enclosed garden, she was also able to play swing ball and golf which was provided!
The bathroom was above average, we had a choice of using the shower or the bath, how great is that.
We had a family size TV in the room, a tray with a good choice of hot drinks, biscuits, cake and bottled water. Everything we could want.
My daughter was happy that she could still keep in touch with her friends via wifi thank god.
The owners where very welcoming and so friendly, we felt at ease there. As for their full english breakfast. . . . . .they should win an award for this, all I can say is FANTASTIC +++
As you can tell we will be staying here from now on, we have found a brilliant place where we can relax and enjoy our time.
You must try it, you wont be dissapointed.
