We held our wedding here. I stayed the night before the wedding and still received amazing service even though to them i was just another paying guest not just the bride. absolutly everything was perfect. i dont have a single negative word.

We stayed here for a couple of nights for my birthday and had a lovely relaxing time. There was a little hiccup on arrival when our room hadn't been equipped to the deluxe spec we ordered but it was soon remedied when we pointed it out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa suite was very nice and the treatments excellent. The breakfasts in the main restaurant were also very good but the bar food was not as impressive - not terrible, just OK. The room was very comfortable with a lovely bed although the cupboards and drawers looked a little tired. Overall a very pleasant stay with only a few minor flaws.

Stayed here in January for my Birthday! Room was well furnished, warm and was a lovely touch having clinique bath/shower creams and washes! Only fault was that since we had a room with a staircase the ceiling was the roof of the hotel, so we could here the wind quite a lot throughout the night! Staff was friendly, the bar was cosy with a lovely fire! Shame it wasn't a real log fire but still the atmosphere was very relaxing! Over all I would go again!

Just back from a wonderful stay, we had a beautiful room and fabulous food. The staff are amazing, so friendly, polite and knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. We sadly left and went to peckforton castle to a wedding and stayed for one night - dreadful room with terrible breakfast the next day! Wish we had stayed at the Grosvenor and got a taxi back!! We will definitely be back to the Grosvenor and highly recommend such a fabulous hotel.
