The hotel is situated in the centre of Chester and the rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent.The staff are all attentive and willing to help.This is a very good choice for your stay in Chester.The front rooms can get a little noise fro the city at nights-so be aware of this.Certainly not a reason to avoid this quality hotel.

we have just stayed one night for a little treat after christmas,and what a lovely hotel,from arriving and booking in it was a pleasure,we got a fantastic deal for room only booked through the hotels own website,the room was beautifully furnished, nice seating area,large bathroom,very good shower,plenty of hot water,and nice toiletries,tea and coffee facilities,bottle of water.some nice touches,all in all a lovely experience,we took the advise from a previous review and visited the pub next door The Marlborough,and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so needless to say cant wait to go again !

This hotel is the perfect location as is right in the center of Chester. Our room was fantastic and the bed huge - room 115. All of the staff gave excellent customer service and I found Richard Brown to be especially so. He genuinely wanted to ensure your stay was of a high standard and made you feel welcome on a personal level and" not just another guest." Loved the ambiance of the restaurant and enjoyed the food. Will absolutely choose to stay there again and highly recommend. This was my mum's first visit to Chester and she loved it.

Had a great stay at wonderful 4 star New Blossoms Hotel, everything was perfect for us, the staff very attentive and welcoming. Asked for a quiet room at the back ( room 202) as I had read about the noise, we had no problem with noise at all and considering it was New Years Eve we never heard a sound. The room was beautiful, spotless clean and wonderful decor, bathroom was a good size and gorgeous, no problems with the shower or water which i had read about. The room was a little hot but we just turned off the radiator. The bed was gorgeous, really comfortable. Every amenity was provised, tea, coffee even a teapot, hairdyer and iron.

The reception area was wonderfully decorated for christmas with an beautiful tree and garlands around the old wooden staircase, I loved the atmosphere, and its one of the oldest hotels in Chester.

We booked an evening meal and were pleasantly suprised that we had 25 pound each to spend instead of the booked 15 pound. The food was wonderful and restaurant great, staff very attentive and charming.

Breakfast also was excellent a fabulous array of cereals, pastries, fruits, compotes everything you could want, and then on top of that an amazing cooked breakfast ( if you can manage it) We could not ask for more !

Overall an absolutely fabulous New Year in Chester and wonderful staff, I would heartily recommend and certainly hope to be back.

Can fully understand about the car parking problem, but that can only be expected at a city center hotel, and the Gosvenor car park is not that far.

The old Tudor pub next door, to the left, The Marloborough Arms is definitely worth a visit
