We stayed here for a valentines treat on Saturday 11.02.2012. The hotel on first glance is beautiful and this opinion carries on throughout. You cannot fault the decour or the cleanliness.
Whilst we waited for our room we ate our warm cookies (complimentary) and read the paper. Our room did initially smell like smoke although it is strictly a no smoking hotel, and this could have been dealt with, with a plug in air freshner / window left open. We did the necessary and the problem was solved ourselves.
There was a minor issue with hot water in the evening prior to our meal, and this was resolved in a good manner, which was very much helped with reduced room rate and free drinks. - Staff are very accomodating and VERY polite - Good Customer service, as expected from a Hilton
The spa & facilities that come with the room rate are absolutely beautiful, everything that is needed for a spa. The treatments were fantastic also and so relaxing.
We enjoyed a meal at the MPW restaurant and although expensive, so very worth it!
Overall our stay was fantastic and very much what we wanted for our valentines surprise.
Definitely will be returning - sooner rather than later.
