Good location (5 mins walk from railway station and 5 mins from city centre) ; very clean rooms ; very helpful staff ; cheap rooms (if you book far enough in advance).

Don't book if you want a cosy hotel lounge to relax with a drink. It does have a bar and restaurant but I wouldn't describe either as cosy. However if you want a good, value for money, central base this may be it. Especially good for families.

Pre-booked breakfast very good value at around £15 for two adults and one child (children eat free - 1 child per paying adult)

Only downside is limited parking but there is an NCP near the station.

Would happily recommend and will return.

Clean property with good staff who are well trained. Pleasant stay and would definitely visit again.

Excellent location - we arrived via train so only a short walk from train station. Greeted by friendly staff and no issue with checking in a little earlier as our room was ready. Room was spotless and a good size with spare pillows and plenty of towels. A little road noise but nothing that would keep you awake at night. Only a short walk to pubs/ restaurants along the river or into town for a spot of retail therapy! Would stay here again and recommend to others who don't want to pay a fortune for accommodation. Perfect base to explore Chester from.

Close to city centre, train station & some excellent restaurants. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Hotel very clean. We asked for a quiet room after reading other reviews & were given a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the car park no problems it was really quiet, we slept very well.
