“Value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights here while we attended a wedding at nearby Peckforton Castle. The owners, Rose and Roy, were the friendliest people we have met at a B and B.
We stayed in the detached barn room which had a massive bed, ensuite and it's own cosy lounge with wood burner. Fluffy white towels and crisp, white bed linen complimented the lovely furnishings. Looked out onto the lovely Cheshire countryside and wild birds feeding on seed.
Breakfast was superb and served in a lovely lounge in the main house. We were sad to leave but will return. It was fantastic value for money and ideally situated to explore Chester and nearby countryside. Thank you Rose and Roy, it was a pleasure to stay with you.

The room had an adjoining lounge with little wood burner stove, amazing comfy armchairs and a flatscreen TV - perfect place to stay which deffinatley won't dissapoint!!
The hosts are lovely and the breakfast is to die for.

“Carol & Brenda”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

I have just returned from a two day stay with a friend at Cheshire Cheese Cottage, this is my second visit and I wasn't disappointed. The room we had with adjoining lounge was really lovely. The welcome was really warm. Roy & Rose are excellent hosts. The breakfast in the morning was really good, fresh fruit first, then a very good cooked breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this B & B.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

Roy and Rose, what wonderful hosts and lovely warm people. We stayed here Sept 2011 for one night and so wished it was for longer. We had the executive suite which was clean and comfortable and all the amenities you could want, including a couple of quirky chairs courtesy of Roy. The views are astounding. Rose recommended the Pheasant for our evening meal, well done you!! We look forward to our next visit.
