“Exceeded all expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2011

My husband and I arrived to a very warm welcome. The room we stayed in was immaculate and decorated to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent, the fruit was delicious and only quality products used for the cooked options, it set us up for the rest of the day. Our stay here was very relaxing and we were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. I would highly recommend Killiney House to everyone.

“exceeds all our expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2011

My husband & I stayed here for a short break. Having looked at reviews on TripAdvisor we felt this was the place for us. We were not disappointed. As we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home straight away. What a treat to be welcomed and to have a warm drink and a choice of lovely cake on arrival. The attention to detail and immaculate surroundings that Tresa and Les provide made us feel very special and even one of the family.
Our room was beautiful! The ensuite was spotless and looked like it had been fitted the week before! The bed was really comfortable and soft pillows gave a real sense of luxury along with all the other furnishings. Not all B&Bs provide chocolate truffles but each evening when we came back we had another box on our bed waiting.
Then there were the breakfasts. What a good choice of homemade museli various breads and toast and beautifully cooked breakfast and fresh juices. We certainly did not need lunch.
The recommended Indian restaurant, just 2 mins walk from the house on the main road, was excellent especially on Wednesday evenings for their special deal night.
Tresa was also very helpful with where to visit in the area.
All told a very relaxing and comfortable stay in a beautiful house with lovely hosts.

“Perfect in Every Way!”

Treasa and Les have created an epitome of a bed and breakfast. There is not a suggestion to offer to make anything better. We have traveled all over the world and often stay in bed and breakfast lodgings/inns/guest house establishments...this is the best ever, by far. The rooms are so perfectly cleaned that I did not do my usual clean-the-room-upon-entry...happily padded around barefoot and relaxed under the watchful eye of an expert hostess and cleaner. The decor is fresh and lovely and not overly froo-froo and cloying (as is the case in too many bed and breakfasts). And the food...oh, the food! Such nice tea times...better than tea at The Orangery at Kensington Palace and wonderful breakfasts. The tableware and fresh flowers were beautiful. The linens were so beautifully soft/crisp that I had to force myself to stay awake just to enjoy them. No detail is overlooked. Every effort is made to anticipate and then accommodate your needs and desires...before you know you have desires! We will recommend this wonderful establishment to all traveling in the area, with the fullest appreciation and the happiest memories. Thank you Treasa and Les!!!

We have just spent 2 nights at Killiney House and it was just fantastic from the warm welcome from Treasa and Les to the comfortable spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious.
Thoughtful, little extras were a lovely surprise.
Can't wait to visit again!

“Best B&B we've ever stayed in!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2010

My wife and I spent four nights here and although we have never written a review on this site before, we felt compelled to share our experiences with fellow travellers. From the delicious afternoon tea on our arrival to the handmade chocolates, we were thoroughly spoilt throughout our stay.
Incredible attention to detail made us feel really special and nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and attentive hosts. We stayed in the King Room, which was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of extras in the room. The breakfasts were fantastic, including lots of fresh fruit, different breads, homemade muesli and an extremely good Full English. We can't recommend Killiney House highly enough.
