“Peaceful and cosy place, right in the heart of town”

We stayed in the Coach House, next door to Cathedral House. The location is perfect for the cathedral and the centre of town, and only a short walk from the riverside. Very friendly hosts and a well-cooked breakfast. The rooms themselves had a lot of character and were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

“memorable 95th birthday at the coach house”

We were a party of five celebrating a 95th birthday and the house suited all of us. It was beautiful, welcoming and comfortable in a convenient position in the centre of Ely, with all modern conveniences integrated tastefully into a lovely old building. The garden is gorgeous, too.

“Excellent location for city attractions”

An extremely pleasant and comfortable two night stay. Good size rooms with many period features. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas and the owners have good knowledge of places to visit.

“Quiet haven in heart of Ely”

Great location, friendly hosts - centre of town, but quiet courtyard outside. Birds were the only noise, and they were great! Wifi in the room.

“Wonderful experience”

It was a great experience in this beautiful house with a lot of character. It was nice and clean. The hosts were very friendly. Enjoyed it a lot.
