The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and towels were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable. Each room had TV, clock/radio, tea -making facilities and a fridge provided.
There was a choice of continental or cooked breakfast in pleasant surroundings.
As a lone traveller I found it helpful to be able to heat a ready meal in the kitchen/dining room in the evening. There is also a lounge with sofas, computer and large TV for your use.
The only downside was the walk to the station along the main road which was half an hour, and the town centre attractions 40 minutes. There may be a short cut once the new development is completed or a shortcut using a footbridge over the railway????? There is a bus service No3 which is every 10 mins but two usually arrive together at 20 minute intervals.
