Stayed here for two nights and was very disappointed! The room did not match up to any of the photos on the website. It was small, dark and the bed was uncomfortable as the springs stuck in our backs. The en-suite was a tight squeeze and where do i start!-the tap was broken, tiles on the floor cracked, the door did not shut properly and the toilet seat loose,so slid everytime you sat on it. It took 2 attempts for the manager to fix the toilet seat! The shower also was at the complete wrong angle and you had to stand against the wall to get wet and even lift your legs to wash them properly. The breakfast was small and left us still hungry. Although stated on our booking that one of us was gluten free we did not get offered anything special even though we mentioned this at breakfast and they stated on website they cater for gluten free diets. When mentioned again on the second day to someone else we then got offered some gluten free bread and was told the other girl probably didn't know we had it, this is just not good enough!
I would not recommend staying here and will not go back again.
The one and only good point was the location.

We wanted the room here for first time when we visit Cambridge, unfortunately it was not available so we stay somewhere else and then come back here. The staff is very nice, room quite clean but I found pubic hair on the wash basin. But apart from that everything is OK. They have breakfast and we pain 75 GBP for a double room En-suit so good deal. I didn't try the breakfast as I woke up after 09.15 but from another review they seemed like it. Anyway as I missed the breakfast that I paid for it so I can't rate them as very good or excellent.

Chose this hotel as it was reasonable for Cambridge but not value for money and we only needed to stay one night. Our room was located separately from the main hotel, by the car park at the back of the hotel. The room was large with two single beds with a small shower room which smelt of drains and shower cubicle looked dirty. Upon closer inspection of the room, the carpet was looking tired/dated (from the 80's), the two single beds looked comfy but I decided to lift the bed sheets and underneath there was a mattress protector which was covered full of pubic hairs! These mattress protectors aren't changed regulary!

Breakfast and service was average.

The area in which the hotel is located isn't very pleasant. It's mainly a residential area, as we walked down the road to the nearest pub for some food, we passed some unpleasant drunks and there were some run down multi-occupied residences.

Sorry, won't be staying here again.

The room was small but okay. A bit of a climb to the top floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. It was further from the city center than I expected, and very far from the rail station.
