What an absolutely spectacular place to put your head down at the end of the day. A beautiful Georgian terrace lovingly restored with enthusiasm and passion, by Simon and Jan. We had the basement twin bedroom with a huge newly renovated bathroom, the size of a ballroom. a beautifully appointed bathroom with quality shower products, my only suggestion would be additional towel rails and either an exhaust fan fitted to the to the huge frosted glass window or the abilty to open the window once some one has used the toiltet. Our bedroom overlooked a beautiful cottage garden that we were able to access and photograph the breathtaking view of the gorge and suspension bridge. Jan makes the most delicious pancakes for breakfast and her beautiful collection of treasured china is used at breakfast and in the rooms. No expense has been spared to make guests feel at home and very welcome. I loved the little touches of home made fruit cake in our room and cashew nuts and sherry provided to snack on. I would have no hesitation in recommending 9 Princes Buildings to fellow travellers, it is an experience in it's self. Thankyou both Simon and Jan for making mine and mums stay one I will always remember.

Friends had recommended 9PB to me so when I was looking for a place to stay in Bristol with an old female friend just for a shopping/relax and catch up couple of days, I chose it. We had the most fabulous time there - from our warm and friendly welcome (Simon moved his car so we could use his space), to our gorgeous spacious rooms full of antiques and knick knacks, books and pictures, luxurious bathrooms to the best breakfastI have ever had in a B & B or hotel - made all the more pleasant because of the company with whom we shared our food. We would both stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends and family.

Spacious room and bathroom with lovely little details, smashing views over the Avon River Gorge, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, friendly hosts, quiet and relaxing atmosphere,and a house with character in a slightly posh but very appealing neighborhood: simply put the best B&B I have seen so far. Highly recommended.
