We stayed in apartment 7 for 1 week in June 2009 using this as a base to tour the surrounding countryside. Far better than any hotel room, we had room to move and a lovely view from the front windows over Bristol Bridge. Very well located, the apartment has everything in a heritage building. Although not double glazed, there was no intrusive noise from the front, although the student flats behind had a party on one night and it was extremely noisy until 1am. (I would suggest that Saco double-glaze the rear windows).
In any case we enjoyed staying here, being able to walk to everything. The bed was good, the rooms were clean and everything worked. The only other negative might be that if you have a car the parking charges are very high at the NCP carpark, the only alternative being parking out the front free from 6pm - 8am and then moving the car elsewhere until you use it. Still, this is part of city living.
When we ate out, we ate at the Llandoger Trow around in King Street - just honest pub food with great service at a reasonable price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Saco and will be using them again when next we travel.
