“Away for work”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Great location for shopping and access to the motorways, ask for a room looking over the car park and you won't hear any noise. The onsite restaurant is a bonus, although there are plenty of places to eat if you want to venture out. Booking in advance with the meal deal is a bargain; £22 for a three course evening meal with a drink and all you can eat breakfast can't be bad. Only trouble I had was with the wi-fi. 30 minutes free access seemed not to work very well, on arrival I logged in and was told I'd used my days limit! A quick call to receptiona and I was told the tech people would call me back to sort it out, they never did. Next morning checked it and it worked so i used 5 minutes up, planning to use it later that day when I returned. Foolish, as it again said I'd used my allowance when I tried later! I ended up buying a voucher for 24hrs access which worked fine (and was only £3). Apart from that there is a little disruption whilst they're doing some building work (more rooms?) in Jan / Feb 2012. But for the price and access, it's perfectly acceptable for a couple of days on business.

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up and over looking the car park if you're worried about any noise.

“Family night away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

My husband and 2 children stayed for one night this past weekend.

We stayed here as this hotel was the top rated within the area. I was slightly dubious, having never stayed at a Premier Inn before, but can honestly say how delighted I was with the overall experience.

Like the other reviewers have commented, the outside of the hotel isn't very pretty and is set quite close to the Motorway. It's currently undergoing refurbishment, but there was no disruption to our stay.

However, once inside, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful (Claire? brought us extra pillows as soon as we asked and even offered to print directions for our next destination when we checked out).

We had a family room, which was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough for a family of four. However, the roll away beds were just big enough for eldest daughter (5' 2'').

All areas of the hotel are immaculately clean, even the toilets by the bar!

We hadn't intended to have dinner at the hotel, but found 'The Venue' (nearby area of restaurants, cinema and bowling) really busy and couldn't get parked. Again, waiting staff (Josh) really helpful and food was generous and well priced.

Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice. Again, staff really attentive (Lisa) and helpful.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money (£59 for the room and £8 per adult for breakast - kids eat free) It's a pleasure to come across so many helpful staff - my compliments to them.

“Fantastic Service, Clean and Comfy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Stayed at this hotel in June 2012 with my partner as we had planned some activities in and around Bristol. Fantastic value for money, our room cost £55.00

The hotel was lovely:
- Bathroom and main room was spotless, completely clean, with a fantastic shower, good bathroom lighting and large mirror.
- The main room was big, spacious, a HUGE bed, fresh clean sheets, and we had a fantastic nights sleep, television had plenty of chanels, and tea and coffee were provided.

We dined at the resturant on the first evening and it was fabulous. A wide variety of foods, cooked fresh served beautifully. I had a pizza which was amazing. Compliments to the chef.

Service here is fantatstic, when arriving and leaving all staff were very polite. We did not have any problems but if we did we felt we could of gone to the staff for help without a worry..

***One particular member of staff that was working as a waitress in the resturant when we dined was FANTASTIC. I have never in my life been served on so well in my life. She was kind, polite, very helpful and made us feel very welcome. She providied us with pizza boxes so we could finish are tea off in the evening as we were stuffed.
I do not remember her name, but she was tall, slim, very pretty, with bright blonde hair, if you know her then a BIG thank you from us.

Our car was safe in the overnight car park and was not at all damaged.

- If I have to give some constructive critisism, it would be that we received a wake up phone call aty 9.00am in the morning, which was fine as we were awake and up, but someone who is having a lie in may not like this.

Overall a fantastic hotel, which I reccomend to everyone, great service.
Thank you, will look forward to staying here again.
