Positive and friendly welcome and advice. Rooms right up to standard. TV perhaps a little small. Quiet and undisturbed on both sides of the building as we had rooms across the corridor. Good breakfast and choice as usual. V Cars took us to our party venue on schdeule - if a little expensive going but return was okay. Friendly driver who knew the best route.

The rooms were clean, fresh & tidy. Food in the Beefeater was lovely, Hotel receptionist was rude, unhelpful, unsympathetic & arguementative.
Sadly we had a noisy stay due to drunken lads being too loud at early hours.
Overall, if you need a place to stay for Bristol or bath the position is good, so if you can ignore the bad elements of this place, it's a good area for commuting to both places.

Stayed overnight with family as a convenient location to see One Direction in Cardiff.
Very friendly professional check-in. Was handed a book of vouchers (valid for January only) which included a bogof on breakfast - kids still eat free. So all four of us had an all you can eat breakfast (which was excellent) for £7.99.
Room was clean and tidy with all beds fully made up (which is not always the case).
Plenty of free parking.
The only criticism was that the bathroom was looking a little tired but all in all an excellent stay.
