Stayed one night at this hotel on 24 January whilst away on business. I found the service up to the usual good standard I've come to expect from Marriott and was given a room on the ninth floor. The room was clean and comfortable and, despite being close to a main commuter route through the city, pretty quiet.

I enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant, which was over priced. Of course this is not unusual for hotel food and I would rather have eaten out but didn't get back to the hotel until late.

Stayed here in Jan 2012 for just one night. Check in very quick and easy. Lovely clean and spotless room on the 4th floor. One slight problem was you could hear every noise from the road below (including emergency sirens) most of the night. Not deafening or the hotel's fault but background noise nonetheless. The staff were all very polite and could not be more helpful. There is an NCP carpark a few steps next door with a reduced rate if you are staying at the hotel. A very pleasant stay.

We stayed here as part of a tour group for one night.

I found the staff to be excellent - they were very lovely to deal with, and were very accommodating when we arrived slightly late for the group dinner in the restaurant after the orders had been taken and the tables assigned.

I would stay here again.

We have stayed at this Marriott Hotel quite a few times over the past couple of years and have enjoyed our stay, this time was no exception.

We had booked a Christmas party at the hotel which again was very good.

Hotel receptionists and managers were incredibly helpful, professional and went out of there way to make sure we had a great stay.

Here's my only criticism of Marriott Hotels in the UK (i love marriott hotels and do travel to the usa a lot and only stay in marriott!! so before anyone thinks I am not being a true reward member of the marriott!!!) and my criticism is the rooms are never 100% clean. What is it with housekeeping? Simple hint if you have big wooden headboards on a bed they get dusty!!

Again I'm going to add this so everyone please make sure rooms are dust free as much as possible and here's why!! If you suffer from allergies then dust will only make things worse!! and why does it make things worse and why should we complain when we see dust in the room ........ dust is made up of someone else's dead skin cells, dust mites and their faeces. And if this dust is visible then it has been collecting for more than a day!! The rooms are supposed to be cleaned daily????

The group we went away with enjoyed themselves and that was great!!
