So glad we booked this hotel, we were unsure about the self check in and out of town location but in the end it was perfect for our needs. It was easy to find using sat nav and has decent pubs, shops and takeaways all within a short drive. I recommend the Toby carvery for food and Tesco Express for late night snacks, both are a 5 minute drive away. This hotel isn't located in Bristol city centre and is more suited to those using it for business purposes or a stop-over as it's perfect for jumping straight onto the M5 which is literally down the road. The hotel has it's own carpark with approx 20 spaces and is in a very quiet location. The carpark is barrier operated using the code printed on your room receipt. You check in using the machine located in the Starbucks next door, this sounds unusual but is no problem at all and the staff in their are very helpful if you're unsure. Within a few clicks on the touchscreen we were checked in and on our way to our room. As soon as you enter the corridor you can tell the hotel is well looked after, with lovely carpet and immaculately clean throughout. Rooms are card operated and are fantastic. I stay in a lot of hotels and this is up there with the apartments, the room was modern, well laid out and a pleasure to stay in. It has a feeling of luxury with it's carpet, curtains and comfortable sofa in the room. Our room was close to the main door and right next to the carpark but was still silent all night long. The bathroom comes with toiletries so you don't need to take your own, has a wonderful power shower and heated towel rail. It even has under toilet lighting so you don't have to blind yourself or your partner should you use the toilet in the middle of the night. A nice touch. When you enter the carpark it indicates there is a £3 charge for overnight guests but in fact you don't have to pay. You use the code to drive in and out the barrier as you please. I was so impressed with this hotel that I booked another stay as soon as I got home and would definately recommend it. It's one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in and at £49 for the night it's very good value for money.
