Conveniently close to the airport, we really enjoyed our stay at the Citizen M. Very different than any standard hotel....
A lot has been said already. So maybe I repeat it when I say that I loved the rain-shower, the great big and comfortable bed, the clean and trendy lounge areas and friendly service all together.
The only negative thing I can think of is, when travelling with kids (like us) it would have been nicer to have interleading rooms, this especiallly when kids are smaller. Also some kind of discount should be given for a second room occupied with kids.
I would highly recommend it for a night stay when travelling through Schiphol....

For an overnight before leaving Schiphol, Citizen M is perfect. Quiet, close to the airport, comfortable, and very reasonably priced.

Right next the airport, very modern, good comfortable rooms and very good value for money considering the location.

It is also fantastic for the lobby facilities which we used for a few meetings.

In addition, if you have a long wait at the airport and can't bear the thought of waiting in a busy airport this place is perfect for a beer, relaxing sofa to sit on and dinner before an evening flight.

I didn't expect much when I reserved a room AT Schipol at half the price of the big name brands but was very pleasantly surprised. The room absolutely met ALL my needs. The king size bed (which for me is a major item on my "room comfort list") was excellent and the hotel had all the services I look for. Walking distance to Schipol made meals attractively priced and the free movies and internet were a nice treat. The 21st century design also appealed to me - it was like being in a sci-fi movie. For me, it was a better experience than the Hilton or Sheraton as I love a good value and this room met my needs as well or better than the higher priced names.
