I too am from Beaumont and stayed there with the U19 Ringette team...I was greeted by a very rude front desk Staff upon arrival. If our team made her mad why was she a crank upon check -in? I have read the response from the Gm and call bull on all of it..As for the complaints till 1 am ...False...Our team was well asleep by then as we had an early morning game..As for Friday Night the girls were decorating shirts in one room and I was in there watching and taking pictures..There was No noise as these girls were working hard coloring their shirts...I can verify that ..Whoever made all those complaints must have been dreaming .. I also recall an empty parking lot as we were the almost the only ones there as was some young rally drivers...
As the Supervising Parent in the room with all the girls on Friday Night I was NOT approached by a staff member to quiet down..If the problem was so bad why was I not notified...???
Also I had to leave your town on Sat and left my 31 year old step daughter and 6 year old grand baby with my daughter in here room to ensure that an adult was there ..My family was subjected to a room inspection upon check-out which was extremely embarrassing to my family to have that happen in front of their team mates..(the Room was fine). Terrible
I see it as Staff trying to cover their butts for the rudeness that they threw at us...
All in all The Days Inn In Cochrane is a hotel that will Never be used for pleasure or business from this family again...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group of Ringette players and parents in Cochrane for a tournament. From the moment of check in and throughout our stay we experienced terrible customer service from Front End staff. They were initially just unfriendly and eventually verged on abusive (to both parents and kids) The breakfast room was "shut down" so promptly at 10:00 am that food was taken away from a Mom with a small child (not even from our group) while standing in the kitchen attempting to make a decision. Adults and Kids were reprimanded continually for every little thing they did.....we really felt as if we were "uninvited guests" staying in someones home!! When we attempted to discuss concerns staff (front desk) were rude and argumentative. I am sharing this experience in the hope to save another group from making the same mistake - this hotel really put a damper on our entire weekend (the whole team) despite a great experience otherwise...Stay somewhere else!!

This hotel smelled of mold and service was terrible. The food was bad and rooms were cold. Never met staff that were more rude than these ones. Stay away from this dump.

Moved to a new hotel with cranky kid and voila - warm pool for an hour of mental break for mom. ahhh. In room, they had popcorn which made the kid happy and gave Mom a bit of time before dinner. Small kitchette had dishwasher, dishes, even pepper and salt! Staff at the front always offering to help and smiling and willing to share small pleasant banter. Two TVs, one for parents, one for kid, in two room hotel. We can actually have visitors in our room and have the bedroom door shut. Free newspaper from local town and big nearby city. Super easy internet! Food is good. Showers are good, hot, and long lasting! Feel free to ask for daily/weekly/ or monthly rate.
