In Vancouver for the weekend we could not have chosen a better place to stay for 3 nights. The B&B is nestled in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the Province, very near the forest park and the ocean. Only a short (and gorgeous!) drive into downtown we had no trouble getting from West Vancouver into the city to shop, up to North Van, out to Richmond, and so on. We stayed in the East West Suite which was VERY clean, nicely decorated, entirely quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. As a couple we had plenty of space to lounge, watch television, and listen to music on a new stereo. The garden terrace just outside the door was also a nice little break in the morning sun.
the breakfasts were excellent, all started with fresh fruit and juice, and followed with a variable hot plate. Also cereals and milk, coffee and tea were offered.
Our host Hanna was very nice and joined us each morrning to chat or talk about what we could do in Vancouver. She kept a binder with menus and attractions listed for guest use, and also was knowledgable on her own.
All together I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting a break in West Vancouver. It was perfect for us as a young couple.

Lighthouse Park Bed And Breakfast.West Vancouver
We had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at this exquisite little B&B during our month long stay in Canada and Alaska in July.
There are only 2 suites in this charming B&B and we spent a lovely romantic time in the Angel suite. The suite included a loungeroom, bedroom and bathroom. The decor was along the lines of shabby chic and oh so pretty. The bed was ever so comfortable with matching linen and doona. The loungeroom had a comfortable couch, TV and CD player and amongst other furniture was a bookcase filled with all types of books. Outside our own private front door is a quaint little garden with outdoor setting. Our hostess , Hanna is a truly original lady with a spiritual outlook on life. We found her to be full of ideas on where to go and instructions on how to get there. The breakfasts were a bit too large for my tastes but Allan rarely left anything on his plate. It was an especially nice touch to come home at night to muffins and cookies in our room. Hanna was so unobtrusive and left us to enjoy our romantic stay. We didn't have a car during our stay but the bus stop is a couple of minutes walk and they run every 30 min. Horseshoe Bay is a 10 minute bus ride and is a lovely seaside place with many restaurants by the sea. All in all I would give this B&B 10 out of 10. I am very fussy where I stay and could recommend this place to everyone. I thank you Trip Advisor for directing me to Hanna's place as it was on your site that I found it. We find Lighthouse Park Vancouver Bed and Breakfast the best B&B we have ever been. The house is in a very nice neighbourhood in the forest. When we got there we had a very warm wellcoming from Hanna the owner. The room are really a suite: a livingroom and a bedroom. It is furnished with a beautiful and warm atmosphere. it is very clean. We stayed there for 4 nights and every morning we had another breakfast. Hanna is an excellent cook. Every evening when we got back to our room we found chocolate on our bed. One morning when we had to get out very early to go to Victoria, Hanna prepare for us muphins and fruits to take with us. During breakfast Hanna the owner set with us we talk and laugh a lot and we could get help from her on where to go and what to see.
We know that when we'll come back to Vancouver we will stay at Lighthouse Park Vancouver Bed and Breakfast again, and to every one we recommend: stay there and enjoy the great hospitality.

This is a very nice B & B located in the W. Vancouver area close to Atkinson Point and the Lighthouse. It is a 3 room ensuite set up with a very gracious hostess, Hanna. It's very close to Marine Drive and the Upper Level Freeway, so almost everything is within a 20 minute drive. Hanna has taken the time to provide infomation booklets on most of the local attractions and restaurants, with some menus included. The rooms are a little small with not much room to move about, but we were only there to sleep for the most part, so it was not too critical for us.
