My wife and daughter stayed at this great B&B in 2006 and raved about it. My wife and I stayed there this Victoria Day weekend and found it a wonderful oasis in a busy city. The house is located in a forested area just above the ocean. There are only two units attached to the house, each with its own entrance. Our unit had a nice living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The whole place was spotlessly clean and very pleasant. Hanna, the owner does a fantastic job making visitors comfortable and the breakfasts are exceptional. Hanna has lots of information on local attractions and places to dine. The price is very reasonable and we found Lighthouse Park B&B much preferable to staying in a hotel. We would definitely return.

We spent three nights at the Lighthouse Park B&B, July 20-23, 2009.
Our stay was everything that previous reviewers have written about.
Hanna was a wealth of information on every aspect of the Vancouver area.
She suggested that we take a drive up to Whistler that turned out be one of the highlights of our trip. The tram up to the Peak to Peak was breathtaking and relaxing. On the way back to Vancouver we stopped (Hanna’s suggestion) at Shannon Falls. The falls are only about a ¼ mile from the main highway, and provided a nice rest and photo opportunity.
We enjoyed great meals and beautiful scenery at the three restaurants we dined at. They were, The Boat House at Horseshoe Bay, The Beach House on 25th street (only 10 minutes from Lighthouse Park B&B), and Carmelo’s between 14th and 15th avenue on Marine Drive (again about 10 minutes from our stay).
I would highly recommend staying at the Lighthouse B&B for anyone visiting Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Public transportation would be the best bet to get into Vancouver for the many venues only 20-30 minutes away, and there are several Park & Ride areas close by.
Traffic and parking will be a problem for most attempting to get into Vancouver during the Olympics
Overall, out stay at the Lighthouse Park B&B provided a beautiful, restful, visit to Vancouver.
We will be back.

We have stayed at a number of B & B's locally (BC) and overseas but this one is a standout. Hanna has provided such a wonderful retreat for anyone visiting the area. The suite was exquisite, her knowledge of the area amazing and the food to die for. Hanna went out of her way to make our stay wonderful - a birthday celebration with all the trimmings. We can't wait until
our next visit - thank you so much Hanna.

Anyone looking for a crackin wee howff in West Vancouver (only 20 mins from downtown; 10 mins from Horseshoe bay ferries, this is it guys!). We wrote to proprietor (Hannah) as follows after our trip:

A wee note to say thanks for making the first part of our trip so good. We thought your place was fantastic, and it was a great base for the first few days - thanks for the breakfast feast you laid on for us on the Sun morning too! Fiona did well in the Half Marathon, coming in in top third of her class, and within top half of runners overall - not bad for a girl of 52...! Our conference in Vancouver was fun, and we totally loved the sunshine coast, Squamish and Whistler. All told a brilliant 3 weeks in Canada.
