We find Lighthouse Park Vancouver Bed and Breakfast the best B&B we have ever been. The house is in a very nice neighbourhood in the forest. When we got there we had a very warm wellcoming from Hanna the owner. The room are really a suite: a livingroom and a bedroom. It is furnished with a beautiful and warm atmosphere. it is very clean. We stayed there for 4 nights and every morning we had another breakfast. Hanna is an excellent cook. Every evening when we got back to our room we found chocolate on our bed. One morning when we had to get out very early to go to Victoria, Hanna prepare for us muphins and fruits to take with us. During breakfast Hanna the owner set with us we talk and laugh a lot and we could get help from her on where to go and what to see.
We know that when we'll come back to Vancouver we will stay at Lighthouse Park Vancouver Bed and Breakfast again, and to every one we recommend: stay there and enjoy the great hospitality.

This is a very nice B & B located in the W. Vancouver area close to Atkinson Point and the Lighthouse. It is a 3 room ensuite set up with a very gracious hostess, Hanna. It's very close to Marine Drive and the Upper Level Freeway, so almost everything is within a 20 minute drive. Hanna has taken the time to provide infomation booklets on most of the local attractions and restaurants, with some menus included. The rooms are a little small with not much room to move about, but we were only there to sleep for the most part, so it was not too critical for us.

My wife and I spent three nights and two full days in Vancouver, staying at the Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast in West Vancouver. The home of Hanna Pankow is tucked away in a lovely (and very quiet) neighborhood in West Vancouver, about 20 minutes from Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver. Lighthouse Park, a scenic local park, is a short walk away. Our room was quite nice, and the bed was very comfortable--important to us as we are in our fifties and starting to feel the aches and pains of aging. The breakfasts were excellent and Hanna always checks to see if you have any dietary restrictions. Luckily we didn't. Hanna is a gracious host, with many tips as to what to do in the area. As usual with staying at a B&B, we learned a lot from the other guests and actually made some plans based on what we learned at Hanna's breakfast table. We vistited yet another park about 20 minutes from Hanna's house, and we ate at a very good restaurant on Marine Drive on the way into Vancouver. The Lighthouse B&B is also minutes away from the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, which was convenient for us. All in all we give this charming B&B a solid two-thumbs up recommendation. We hope to return someday(and get another one of those stuffed pancakes...mmm good!)

The Lighthouse Park B&B has the best of both worlds -- close to downtown, it is located in a tranquil forested setting, close to the bay in North Vancouver. Innkeeper Hanna has but two suites, and provides a truly personalized touch -- a customized breakfast experience, unexpected amenities in the suite, and grounded input on area sites to see. My wife and I have different sleep rhythms and the suite's layout enabled me to shower and watch the morning news without disturbing her at all. When in Vancouver, don't miss this gem!
