Me and my husband came to St Sauveur from Montreal to go to the waterpark. After the Hotel St Sauveur (down the road) lied about their prices by email, we did not have enough money to stay there so we were left out in the rain in the middle of a thunderstorm with no where to stay. We walk down the road and found the Motel 60 and went in and asked for a room for the night.

They were EXTREMELY nice at the desk, and he gave us a special rate since we came so late (almost 9 pm). We paid $114 for a night in a room with a kitchenette, a nice bathroom, 2 double beds, a sofa, a flat screen tv, and a fireplace.

The place was very quite and very well insulated. The windows opened, so it was very nice to sleep with them open to get the fresh mountain air. The decorations were nice, the furnishings were nice, it was an extremely nice place.

They have a nice outdoor pool, a park for kids to play in, and nice rooms.

They also offer chalets, suites with spas and jaccuzis, and massages as well.

Me and my husband had a GREAT time here, and are already planning the next time that we will go back! :)

The Motel Le 60 is a great find. It's hands down the best stay for the price point should you visit Saint Sauveur. It's a hop-skip to the ski hill and water-slides. The rooms are simple and clean. The ease of access and ability to cook in the room make this spot perfect for the young family wishing to see the region. The windows open to let air through the room. The owners speak fluent English, making the experience easier if your French is rusty. I've stayed here twice, once 14 years ago, and again the last 2 nights, ... this place was and is a total gem of a find. 100% recommended. I'm booking the place again for this upcoming winter. I think you'll like this place, it's very fair for the price. Our room had been fully renovated, ... making the photographs I found in the reviews on this site outdated, ... the place is clean, ... and as per the sign, ... motel, not hotel, ... so if you're looking for more then keep looking, ... this place is simple, cost effective, not the Ritz, ... but absolutely a fair and clean find for the dollar spent.

My husband and I found this place and we loved our 3 days weekend getaway. The rooms were very clean and newly furnished. The view was absolutely magnificent. We had the choice of a room, condo, chalet,or suite. We opted for the room. The owner gave us good advice on the best restaurants of St-Sauveur. The view in the kitchen of the fall foliage was so beautiful. We will definitly remember this place and will come back next year.

We have been travelling to the Laurentians for years and we have always enjoyed the area and never been let down until we stayed at Motel Le 60 in March '09.

The room was freezing and we had to keep the furnace at the highest number and stuff the door with paper to try and keep the cold wind from blowing in. The bathroom was very dated, dusty and far from clean. There was a disgustingly rusted curtain rod at the bottom of the tub, for what use I can't figure out.

On a small poistive note, the view from the room at night was decent when the slopes across the highway were lit. The kitchen was quite old, but adequate for our breakfast needs.

With all the affordable and clean accomodations in the Laurentians, we will definitely stay elsewhere in the future.
