After looking on Ranch's website, I decided to make a booking. I booked through email, and got a swift and fast response, very easy.
After arriving and checking into our room, we were very pleased! Reception Staff very friendly upon arrival and after not knowing much about the area, was soon full of knowledge and local tips about Wells Gray Park. As we arrived a little earlier than dinner time we had time to kill and decided to walk around the ranch. Campground and all areas were very clean. The Bison were in "prime viewing position" at the time and got some great shots! Dinner was great, I had never had bison meat before and thought I should try it as i was at a buffalo ranch. Delicious is an understatement, i couldn't get the taste out of my mouth...i wanted more. I also got to watch the chef cook it on the outdoor BBQ.
After having a full breakfast we went on a 3 hour horse ride, my friend was a little nervous, but after being reassured that there would be no problems, soon became comfortable. We even got to Run!
All staff were friendly, and loved chatting! Quiet a unique world wide staff from Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, England, Australia..and Canada.
Was informed that ranch would be open in Winter, that would be even more awesome!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent trip to BC. It is a great location near to the park. Room was very small. The choice and service in the restaurant is not very good. My biggest gripe was the automatic adding of 15% service to the restaurant bill. If the size of the tip was down to the customer I think the girls would soon improve their service.

We stayed in Cougar room very small but good bathroom very dark hot room, the restaurant was badly run and expensive, margarine with the breakfast water no ice and bread with dinner an extra $6. really felt being taken advantage of. I f run better this could be what you would expect it to be as its in a beautiful area.

We had the smallest room, which was small (almost entirely bed but still had a decent en suite shower room!) but paid $75 a night so can't complain. Friendly staff, and a great location if you want to travel into the park during the day. Also not a long drive into Clearwater. Restaurant on site was fine although a little overpriced for the food on offer (home grown bison) and limited choice...but the short drive to Clearwater meant it was possible to eat elsewhere (Painted Turtle was good!).
