As far as locations go, it doesn't get much better than this. The site was peaceful with great views of the mountains. We loved the rustic room and dining areas. The guidebook (written by a local) handed out to guests at reception was a nice touch; it was great to find out more about the sights in and around the park, as well as the personalities who have come and gone here over the years.
The only slight drawbacks in the room were the bed and the bathroom. Our bed was constructed from solid logs - which looked great but was very uncomfortable to try and sit up in and read. The bathroom was also on the small side, which proved a challenge in the morning for a man of 1.90m.
The ranch restaurant was a great way to end a day in the park; the food was delicious and served by friendly staff who seemed to form a tight-knit team. A little pricey perhaps, but worth it.
