This is, absolutely, without a doubt, the worst motel that I have ever had the displeasure to stay at. The entire town is flush with oil money and the place is rented to oilfield workers, so as the clerk told me at check in, they can afford to gouge. This is an oilfield worker’s bunkhouse. In an average town/city this place would go for about $45 - $50 a night. They screwed me for &135!!!!
If you love all different varieties of noise, stay here. Yelling in the hallway at 2:30am when the bars closed and the pounding music from the attached disco/bar/lounge were the highlights. The diesel trucks idling all night were a pleasant bonus, as was the idiot blowing his horn at 6 am in the parking lot. Also, I mustn’t forget the middle of the night train.
Lack of value and extreme noise make this a place to avoid.
