My wife and I stayed at this hotel while passing through Amherst to get to Halifax. The service from the front desk was average...the room was clean and roomy but the bed was very uncomfortable! Decent location (right near the major highway) but nothing to do after dark. I would recommend to stay as a pass through hotel but not for more than 1 night.

This property is old, the room smells of carpet-fresh deoderant, the fixtures do not work properly, the air conditioning does not work properly, the internet is impossible although they advertise it. For the money, it is way overpriced and should be rated a 1/2 star. The front desk assistance is non existent. It caused me to re-evaluate my reservations in other cities and upon review of the comfort inn in St. John's--I cancelled and booked at the downtown Hilton for twenty dollars less! My stay at the Comfort Inn in Halifax could not have been better.

Stayed in this motel on number of occasions. Although the rooms are basic they are very good value for money. I really love the room setup and cleaniness
Smoke dectectores are very sencitive so do not smoke in non smoking rooms.

This was a walk-in, late in the eveningt. The front desk clerk was cheery despite the late hour. This hotel didn't have free high-speed internet in the room but the room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of local information available at the hotel. Very good complimentary continental breakfast.

The hotel offered all that I wanted, at an extremely price.
