I loved the way our room looked here (Arts and Crafts meets Victorian?), and it DID have an excellent view overlooking the harbor.  There were issues, however.  Like every other room we had during this entire trip, it was overheated, and when we went to open the windows, one was merely impossible (plus had a broken handle), while the other had to be propped open with our garbage can!  Then, once we got it cold enough for night, we couldn't warm it up again during the day!  At least there was a comfy mattress and good feather comforter.  

The hotels Tin Fish restaurant was a disappointment with no view at all, juvenile decoration, and closure on Sunday night!  Worse yet were the continental breakfasts we were served in the same restaurant as part of our package.  There were pedestrian choices in pastries and fruit to begin with, then by our second morning, the choices were a disgrace!  Four of us had the opportunity to eat one of 3 stale, cold muffins (same as we were served the previous day), and fruit that must have been cut DAYS earlier.  Three of the four of us ended spitting melon out into our napkins!!  

My suggestion to this basically lovely place are to 'up' maintenance and to do a DRASTIC revamping to the breakfast service!  I want it to succeed, if only for the sake of their friendly and helpful manager, Jeff !

My husband and I went to Lunenburg to see the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society concert featuring Suzie Vinnick and the Hupman Brothers. We took advantage of a package which included tickets to the concert, a credit towards supper at the Tin Fish restaurant, continental breakfast, and a very comfortable room. The staff was friendly, the food at the dining room great, and the breakfast just fine!

For a property of this calibre, the beds were way too soft-the worst night's sleep ever-just because of the bed experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the historic Lunenberg Arms. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Lunenberg making it easy to get around. My room was a good size, clean, nicely decorated and most importantly, it had a very comfortable bed! The complimentary continental breakfast was a great way to start the day with a wide variety of delicious choices. I especially liked the muffins. But, what made this a truly excellent experience for me was the staff. I was traveling alone and unfamiliar with the area, so without all the help and thoughtfulness of the ladies at the front desk, my trip would not have gone so smoothly.
