My wife and I stayed with another couple at Le Bondurant for 5 days in mid-March. We had a 2 bedroom condo. The condo was immaculate complete with washer/dryer, brand new kitchen appliances, including thermador stove, wine fridge, and stainless steel regular fridge, and also had a fireplace and dvd player. The bedrooms were spacious and well decorated. The master bedroom had a jacuzzi. Le Bondurant has its own hot tub, so we didn't have to use the hotel's. There is maid service daily provided by Le Westin, which is directly across the street, which included replacing the fire wood every day. The unit comes with one parking spot which is below the condo (accessible by elevator). You have full use of Le Westin spa and gym, and ski locker room (to store ski's and poles). The condo is approximately a 5 minute walk in ski boots from the slopes and directly next to many of the village's shops and restaurants. The staff at Le Westin was extremely helpful and accomodating. Sean, the concierge, made all of our dinner reservations in advance. Because there is a full service kitchen, we ate breakfast and lunch at the condo every day (we got groceries at the IGA just outside the village). There is no room service to the condo, but we did get a wonderful buffet breakfast from the hotel restaurant to go (all we can pack up in plastic containers the hotel provided!). As far as restaurants, we ate in the village every night. There is a wide range of restaurant types/prices. The pricier ones, for the most part, are not worth it (especially the fondue place, Le Savoie, which will make you smell like a wet dog). The best restaurant we ate at was The U (a Japanese place in Le Westin). As for ski conditions, we had rain the first day which made for icy conditions. After the first day, it snowed for a little while each day, but no major snow. The mountain stated that all the trails were open, but when we got there we found that large areas were closed for lack of cover and ice. There also aren't great trails for beginners (especially beginning snow boarders). If you do choose to try snow boarding, take lessons and buy buttpads!!!! One extra word of advice is to review your charges from the hotel and ski school (we found a few mistakes).
