This past weekend Hotel Quintessence earned a place amongst our favorite hotels in the world. Hotels like the Park Plaza in New York, the Bilila Lodge Kempinski in the Serengeti and the Rarotonga Beach Bungalows in the Cook Islands.

Why?
The staff of this hotel are a dream. It begins with Danni & Eric at the front door and extends all the way into the kitchen.

A few examples of the service that comes ‘standard’ at this hotel:
1/ Lost luggage -- A mention of our problem at the front desk and the bag magically appeared an hour later.
2/ Ski storage & valet service -- Toasty boots, dried overnight. Skis immediately loaded into the van. And a one minute drive to the base of the hill (which is also a really easy walk, but when you’re eager for the first run of the day it seems like bliss).
3/ Late for breakfast -- Not a problem. The chef arrives to say something will be prepared special.

And young or old, visibly affluent or apparent ski bums, they seem to treat everyone this way. Merci beaucoup, Hotel Quintessence. We don’t often take the time to write reviews, but this one was very well-deserved.

We had our holiday party at this hotel and it couldn't have been more beautiful. I was able to do all the preparations with ease and the staff was amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and the view of the lake is hard to beat. We even woke up the next morning to a family of deer right off our balcony. The walking village is a stone's throw away from the hotel, which is great. Yes, this is a pricey place to stay, but you definately get what you pay for. We've been to Mont-Tremblant many times and stayed at different hotels, but this is definately the best one.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Quintessence on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed. Their "basic" rooms are like luxury suites at other hotels. The attention to detail is remarkable in the entire operation. From the warm greetings of the staff as you enter the lobby, to the attentiveness of the front desk, you feel that you are royalty. Frankly, my only wish was that this hotel was located at a bigger mountain, but it is clearly the best accommodation in Tremblant. The restaurant is amazing, although I do like to visit the pub-style restaurants in the village when I'm skiing. Overall, this hotel has always been a great experience.

This is simply the best hotel in Mt-Tremblant.
It is the only true 5-star in the area.
This is luxury, with a country flair.
The hotel and the rooms are excellent, and so is the personnel.

I highly recommend it.
