“Double Check your bill before to pay”

My wife and I were two days at this Auberge. Initially the owner (Francine) wrote my an email telling me that the price for the room will be $100 per night. However, they charged me $105 in the final bill. In addition, I ordered the dinner menu of $29.9 and finally they charged $35.5.... When I get home and review the final bill I sent and email to the manager (Francine), however, what a surprise her inbox was full so my email was rejected....
I would not recommend this Auberge.

“Once is enough.”

Having stayed here 20 years earlier, it's the only hotel/B&B that I can remember staying in that area. However, I should have read TripAdvisor's reviews before booking. Right around the corner (for the same money) is the #1ated B&B in Tremblant (which I visited before checking into Le Sauvignon. The wine list price said one thing; the bill showed another. Accounting practices are questionable too. The attitude of the owner is another. I will stop here.

“A perfect B&B”

We were headed to Mont Tremblant for a wedding, but not sure we were going to make it - so booked the B&B at the last minute. Francine, the owner, was very nice and accommodating. We arrived later than anticipated, 9:45 pm, and the staff was there waiting for us. JT welcomed us and and showed us to our room, which he noted had been upgraded gratis!

The rooms are simply decorated, fitting in with the clean country charm of the Auberge. The king size bed was comfortable and had a feather bed on top - sooo comfy. The common room was nice and inviting. The staff was very helpful, even if my French was terrible and their English equally challenged. Francine provided several great recommendations - one for lunch (Milly's pricey, but delicious) and the other an activity to fill a few pre-wedding hours (enjoy the beach by the lake - very relaxing).

The breakfasts were fabulous both mornings. Crepes Suzette the first morning and eggs to order with bacon the second day. Both served with fresh fruit and a slice of a delicious nut bread.

“rough start-great finish!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2009

my wife and i stayed at the auberge sauvignon on thanksgiving weekend of 2009.
being our first visit,we where astonished upon the owner or any other management person not present upon our arrival to check in.
we finally found a waitor in the kitchen who helped us to our room and gave us our key.
francine, the owner never came later on to check if our check in was okay, nor to apologize for not being present!
upon returning later on that evening with my wife from supper,i asked to see the infamous hidden owner,,,
francine was dining with friends, and did not seem to bothered with some details/ex: i asked:what would be served for breakfast the next morning?
she answered:"i do not know yet, whatever i feel like in the morning!"
how rude and unprofessional, not taking into consideration if any allergies etc....
the room was cozy and clean, yet no wastebasket was avalable, and bathroom door did not close well...
in the morning, francine made a wonderful crepe breakfast and was very hospiable and attentive to all our needs! what a difference from the previous day!
we where well greeted upon checking out by francine as well.

“Clean, quiet room within walking distance of village; very good dinner; friendly and accommodating staff.”

My husband and I stayed one night as part of our 6 day bike ride on Le Petit Train du Nord. The auberge was farther away from the old village than we anticipated but was still within walking distance to both the old and new villages. We arrived about 5 hours prior to check-in time and were greeted by the sous-chef who was most accommodating. Not only did he bring us to our room but he also ensured our bikes were secured so that we could explore the town. Our room was large, nicely decorated, very clean and quiet. The king-size bed was really cozy and we had a great night sleep. The common room was pleasant. Note that the auberge is really a collection of rooms above the restaurant and one must enter the restaurant to access the rooms upstairs. Take note that there are no gardens or balcony and views are minimal. We took the fortait package (dinner and breakfast included) which was a good choice. Not only was it a good value but the dinner was fantastic. We started with the gaspacho and chose the trout with mediterranean sauce and my husband is still raving about it. The veggies were perfectly grilled and the creme caramel was lovely. In the morning we were greeted by Francine and we asked her to prepare a lighter breakfast for us because we were still full from the dinner. She was extremely accommodating and brought us exactly what we wanted. We thoughly enjoyed meeting Francine and her staff were equally pleasant and good natured. Although the auberge is not fancy, it felt like home and we would return.
