Very convenient and nicely laid out condos. I thought it was unusual to find security in the hallway speaking with a couple of guests and unfortunately I found out why. On weekends they bring in large groups of young people who feel it their god-given right to party as long and as hard as they want. Good luck trying to sleep if you are actually there to ski first-tracks. Beautiful hot tub was standing room only and filled with young people drinking and some dummies even had glass bottles in there.

Signs say its not allowed but the staff does not monitor/enforce it.

Rooms are getting a little run down as well; for example the carpets are getting so thin you feel the spikes in the strips holding down the carpet between the hallway and the bathroom. Not sure if you would draw blood if you accidentally stepped on it hard.

I guess most owners who bought a condo must not stay there and use it just for an investment.

I woudln't stay there again even if it was free. You can't put a price on a good night's sleep when you are there to ski.

I was pleasantly surprised with our room upon check-in. Front desk clerk was very pleasant and extremely helpful, answering every question we had. Our room was on the very end of the first floor, closest to the slopes with a decent view. We had a nice little balcony off the living room. We had the 2 bedroom suite, which was perfect for the 4 of us, but would have still been comfortable for 6 people and cozy for 8. The kitchen area was small, but well equipped. Dinning room table was good sized and had plenty of chairs. Living room furniture was a bit outdated, but that was too be expected for staying at a ski hotel. Each bedroom had its own spacious bathroom, which made getting ready easy. Only real complaint was the lack of coat hooks, however there were 2 closets right by the door that had plenty of hangers. We were surprised to see a tube tv, but it worked fine. Underground parking was a plus, as was the convenience of the Ski in/ski out. We found it easier to make the short uphill walk to the main gondola rather than ski down to take a lift back up to the gondola, but if we had small children, skiing down would have been the way to go. Ski lockers are right by the ski in/out and the front desk was happy to provide a free lock. indoor hot tub was nice after a long day on the slopes, and had a nice view. Also, proximity to the pedestrian village was fantastic, made the walk back from the bars quick and easy. The shuttle to the casino was only steps out the front door. Overall, I would recommend Lodge De La Montagne to anyone looking for a good in-expensive place to stay. If you want "Fancy" then keep looking, but if you want a convenient, spacious and group friendly hotel, then look no farther!

Me & my husband just came back from the Lodge de la Montagne and we had a great time. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom condo. The room had 1 closed bedroom and 2 sofa beds .We coould sleep 6 comfortably. We think this was a great hotel since we had a full equiped kitchen from a to z.Toaster,kettle, microwave,stove,fridge dishes ect.ect.ect.The beds were very comfy and the room was quite large.
We loved the ski in ski out right from the hotel. The view was spectacular. The staff was extremely helpfull, and very polite. Our guest relations person name was Brigitte and she was very nice and courtious and gave us a fantastic service. 5 stars for the staff. The only thing in this hotel that needs improving is the elevator which we were told was going to be done in the spring. We would defenitly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at La Lodge last week during a ski trip with another family. This hotel is rated a 4 star but we would rate it a 3 star at best. It is worn and outdated and the furniture and rooms need some major improvement. Fairly clean but that needs some work by the staff as well. Our fridge/freezer was not working properly and advised the hotel staff but they did not seem to fix it or advise me of any problem either. I think they just were too full to handle all the problems that needed fixing. The positive points are the beds were comfortable and a very good location. I don't think I would do this hotel again. My advice is pay a little more and stay somewhere a little nicer.
