I would have to agree with J B's post on "Great if you like to party". But first, I would like to note alot of the good things my boyfriend and I thought of Lodge De La Montagne. The room was nice and comfortable for the price and the lodge allowed easy access to the gondola up to the summit as well as to the bars, restaurants, and shops. The staff were very freindly, accomodating, and also provided good recommendations on where to eat (Thanks Sylvie!).
On weekends groups of highschool/college age kids bus up to Tremblant and many stay at the Lodge De La Montagne. We spent three nights on the second floor, which seemed to be the floor where all the young partiers from the bus trip were also put. On the second night, when they arrived, our floor became party central..and by 1200am there were about 30 people at the end of the hall partyying and acting like there was no concerns for others at the hotel and the world revolved around them. Despite calling the front desk, security never seemed to take care of the issue which meant no sleep for us and others who were actually there to ski/snowboard...which is the reason to go to Tremblant, not to just party. I would have to add however that the following day management handled the situation with the partiers well and we did not have anymore issues.
Overall, I would problably, and unfortunately, not stay here again due to the perception that the hotel seems to attract young inconsiderate partiers.
