Just finished a visit to the lodge. Yes it's quaint and service is truly wonderful, from check in to dining room and especially in kids club. But, it's so run down and the rooms are so small, so stuffy and so smelly. The area under the sink where garbage was kept smelt like rancid meat. In a suite with two small kids, we felt like we were stepping on each other. And, because it's a bit far from the mountain, we just felt a bit removed from the excitement - but that might be perfectly fine for some people. All in all its a nice place but the photos and the website make it seem quite a bit nicer, spacious, modern than what it really is.

This was my second stay at Le Grand Lodge. Very comfortable spacious room and very friendly staff. We were there during an off season so the dinningroom wasn't open but the front desk staff member went out of her way to find us a nice restaurant for dinner that was open and proceed to make us a reservation. I will return.

This is a very good place, great location on the lake, the view from the room is stunning. The grandiose chalet atmosphere you get when you come in and head to the bar or restaurant is impressive. Food is absolutely great. I recommend this place to anyone.

I really can't praise this hotel enough. Upon arrival on Saturday we realized I had booked for the wrong days (Sunday and Monday) and had no accommodation for that evening. As it was a Saturday on Thanksgiving weekend, the hotel was completely booked - as was EVERY other hotel in the Tremblant area. We were ready to go back to Montreal for the night when the Lodge called me saying they had a cancellation. In fact they had done more than just that. Despite this error being completely my fault, the Lodge had rearranged reservations to find us a room, upgraded us to an even nicer room, and offered us the same rate for the Saturday. They could not have been nicer to us - I've travelled a lot and this was some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Again - this entire problem was my fault in the first place but the Lodge went out of their way to help and in the end, made our trip just that much more memorable.
Our room was incredible, overlooking the lake. We also had dinner at Chez Borivage and were very impressed by the quality of the food (especially as vegetarians) for such fair rates.
I would recommend this Lodge again and again to anyone who would listen. Fantastic!
