Stayed there for Father's day with my sister, booked via Wyndham website. This is a fairly recent hotel (2006). The lobby is run of the mill 2 stars comfort inn/super 8 style with a vast simply decorated lobby. Check-in was friendly and quick, and was given room on 3rd floor. The room had 2 queen beds, a bit on the hard side, with soft pillows, but i did sleep well (not so much for my sister but she is also suffering of a bout of insomnia these days). The bathroom was decently sized, with standard toiletries, but a rather anemic shower pressure. The water from the faucet had a weird mineral taste. The room has an old CRT TV, microwave, fridge and wired internet (free).
Breakfast provided consisted of typical American continental: muffins, toasts, bagels, jams, fruits, OJ, coffee (weak) and make your own waffles (nice touch). The pool is really meant for children, its shallow, although if i was 11 or 12, i would love the water-slide. The jacuzi was decent sized and hot. No gym. Parking is over 3 levels outside (with a long staircase...this place is built on a hill), so if your handicapped, bring your handicap tag (only 3 spots).
But this a very decent hotel in Ste-Agathe, and if the price is right, i will come back.
