I have stayed at this hotel a few times on my way through Fernie to BC. Hotel is decent, clean, nothing fancy and usually at a good price (for Fernie), there are a few restaurants within walking distance (DQ, Smitty's) but you would probably drive to any others as the hotel is at the edge of the town. Hotel has a hot tub but no pool. If you want a pool there is a good size aquatic centre in Fernie that is good for kids (waterslide, rope swing, paddling pool area, etc.). The older part of Fernie's downtown is a nice stroll with small shops. If you get the chance ride a tube down the river from one end of town to the other. Hotel has a decent continental breakfast.

it was very nice clean and extremely cheap the break fast wwas great my kids said the breakfast their was better then a fancy $14 buffet at a sheraton in houston very good hotel and value

We travel through Fernie a couple of times a year, and we often like to stay overnight. Super 8 is our choise, as it is conveniently located just off the highway. The staff is friendly, the rooms clean, the breakfast is basic but good, and the price is good.

Right from first contact, staff were friendly and helpful. The price was amazing and the establishment is amazingly clean!!!!!! Beds are stiff but over all experience is, "I will return!"
