“awesome condo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

There are good deals in winter when the golf season's over
nice condo, big BBQ, full kitchen and appliances, fireplace, jacuzzi, heated floor, hot tub etc . .

There ain't much to do in Radium besides looking at big horns on the golf course and dipping in the hot springs, so bring your own groceries and relax at this nice condo complex

“Nice rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We stayed here a couple days over Christmas for a snowmobiling trip. We have stayed here before and always enjoyed it. The rooms are nicely done with granite countertops, king sized beds and huge showers.
We stayed in Building 800 this time while in the past have been in Buildings 300 and 400. The difference is that the newer buidlings are built more like apartments and the older buidlings more like townhomes. What we founds was that with the apartment above us we could hear everytime they moved their chairs and when the turned the TV/stereo on. Not too bad, but not as nice as the older buildings where there is very little noise from adjacent units.
If visiting in the winter you need to know that there is very little for restaurant options in Radium. We had breakfast at La Cabina in the Prestige Inn and it was fine. There are many more options in Invemere which is only about 15 minutes down the road.
We ate at the Old Salzberg in Radium for dinner one evening. We have eaten here before on a number of occasions and never been disappointed with the meal.
The pool and hotbut aren't anything special, but they serve the purpose when you have sore muscles after a day out on the slopes (or sleds in our case)
I thoroughly enjoy Bighorn Meadows and will return, however, I will request one of the older buildings next time.

“Nice place.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2011

My wife and I stayed here for a week on our Honeymoon. It was a nice and clean room, and a quiet stay. The staff was ok, not overly helpful however. It was in the winter and there was not much to to around. The bighorn sheep showing up on the resort were neat to see.

“Booorrring!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

We stayed in the 1 bedroom ground floor room limited kitchen. Weren't able to upgrade because we booked through Interval International.
Cons:
-It had one window that faced a concrete wall. It felt like we were in a basement suit room.
-It was very small
-Very small TV (20 inches..ish)
-Nothing to do in the town at the time of year we went.
-Internet connection was anything but high speed. (Can't watch netflix/slow browsing)
-Service was sub par, not because it was a resort but other reasons as well.
-They say they will be at the welcome centre from 8-8, not the case.
-No communal BBQ. Every suit comes with a BBQ unless you are in the smaller ground level suits.
-Dirty Carpets
-Thin walls-My pet peeve!
-Hot water was inconsistent.
-Pillows sucked, bedding was sub par

Pros:
-Beautiful area, surrounded by mountains, on a golf course.
-Hot pools is a good activity
-Heated bathroom tiles
-Came with many appliances/utensils
-Nice decor
-Heated change room in the pool area

Overall, because there was nothing to do, we were stuck in our cave of a room which wasn't very relaxing. We can usually make due with what we have but this particular trip was a challenge. We left early.

Room Tip: Book the bigger suits. Bring food and snacks; overpriced supermarket.

“Beautiful Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Very nice resort in the quiet town of Radium. Beautiful and very clean rooms. Especially enjoyed the great view and watching the bighorn sheep from the room. Little bit pricey but you get what you pay for!
