Terrible customer service. could not give invoice during check out due to printer out of order and kept my email address. But next 10 days called 3 days and every time had to give all details. but could not get it. tired of it.

We were on a road trip of Quebec, and were visiting a friend this was the hotel nearest to where he lived. Its just an average motel its really more for the guys that are working at the big Hydro dam etc, when we checked in the lady at the reception wasn't helpful in any way shape or form.
Room was very standard. but clean.
They had a spa etc but was closed !

This was a very average hotel. Definately not 3 stars. We have stayed at a lot of different sorts of accomodation across Canada over our 4 month trip and this one is in the below average category.
For a start the room had a very musty smell about it which was offputing then whilst trying to relax with all the noise coming from the corridor we were surprised by two men opening our front door. Luckily we had the chain on and they were other hotel guests who had been given the same room as ours.
Late into the evening trying to sleep we heard the upstairs guest taking a shower and water dripping rather loudly which we thought was just pipes in the wall right next to our bed however shortly after we heard a bang and jumped up to check our bathroom and found that the ceiling had collapsed into the bathtub and there was a small waterfall coming through.
We rang reception and the staff members response was to say ok, we will check it tomorrow! Like they were used to this type of thing happening.
When we checked out we reported the ceiling again to the staff and they said they had no notice of it. No apology or anything, disgusting.
Do not stay here!

Our UHaul trailer broke on our way from Labrador to Ontario, so we had to stay over for two nights in Baie-Comeau unexpectedly, until the local Uhaul location opened on Monday July 4. Our French is basic, and our expectations were low, but Baie Comeau turned out to have some of the nicest places to visit and some of the nicest people to interact with! Everyone we encountered was friendly and cheerful.

During our stay at Le Comte the staff were friendly, accommodating, fluent in both French and English, and helpful. They were happy to suggest local restaurants, look into prices for doing laundry on location, and switch around some things so we could stay in our room without moving for the second night. We had a walk out room with grass outside of it for our dog to use, and our own parking spot right outside our window. Free breakfast was included for the first day too, and it was good--especially the homemade bread.

The hotel is most importantly, clean. Nothing fancy, but we were comfortable in our unexpected stay in Baie-Comeau. Boise de la Pointe St-Gilles is a local, in-town hiking spot along the water very close to the hotel.

Over all, the staff and convenience of this hotel make it worth the stay.
