My husband and decided on a whim to spend the night in St. Andrews while driving back after visiting other beautiful cities in Canada. We were on our way to see friends in Boston. We had a B&B guide and called to see if there was a vacancy. To our delight there was. What an unbelievable find this was! The owners, Joe & Rose, could not have been more welcoming. The home is beautiful, comfortably inviting. Joe and Rose know everything you need to know about the area and the house is only a 2 block walk from the main street. Breakfast was elegant, delicious and filling! The room was lovely, cozy and had every amenity you could think of! The bed was a dream...Our only problem is that we were sad we could only spend 1 night! This place sets the standard fof B&B's!

We enjoyed our awesome stay at this beautifully restored 19th century home. We live in Courtenay, BC and were heading to NB to visit friends and family. We took one night to ourselves to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful, quaint little town and awesome service and "to die for" eggs benny the next morning. A beautiful way to spend some alone time. Thank you again for your hospitality and letting us wonder through your beautifully historic home.

We spent a wonderful night at this lovely B&B in the heart of St Andrews. We have stayed here before and it was excellent again. The rooms were very tastefully appointed, having its own bath and sitting area with coffeemaker and water. The quiet relaxation was enough for us but it has a huge TV and a library of tapes of movies for all ages. After driving all day, the 2 block walk to the downtown area was good to stretch our legs. The complete hot breakfast served to guests in the dining room by the chef/host was great to send us off for the day. You won't be disappointed. We have stayed other places but this place was perfect for a three-peat.

We stayed at this wonderful historic home bed and breakfast for three days. The home is only a few blocks from Water Street so is in an excellent walk to town /pier location. The room was very spacious, comfortably laid out and clean and we enjoyed a wonder cross breeze in the evening through the very large floor to ceiling windows (we were in the Pinner room). Our hosts were warm and made us feel right at home and pointed us in the right direction for points of interest and seemed genuinely interested in our experiences. AND the breakfasts were nothing short of yummy...!!!! Our stay at the Montague was comfortable and so we had a wonderful time at St. Andrews! We would definitely return!!!
