So you would think staying here for one night would be acceptable, all you need is a bed, somewhere to rest after a long day....

But, you would be completely WRONG!

This place has alot of mixed reviews, so it seemed to be a okay place just for one night...

The rooms are very dated, and very basic. But that didn't bother me.. The reason for a hotel is to have someone to sleep, well at least you would think, right?....

Well, then you would be completely MISTAKING! The bed was broken! How do they even think this is acceptable to give you a room with a broken bed? To make things better the heat would not cycle, it was so hot and there was no windows... I couldn't sleep no matter how hard I tried, tossing and turning... With this broken bed and broken heater... NEVER AGAIN

After we had a enough, we told the front desk, which could care less, too busy on facebook and ended up with a "upgraded" room.

The heater in this room was still broken, one of the knobs but worked better, at least it was bearable. The beds were muh better then the broken bed but...

THE MATTRESS SPRING WAS BROWN... And there was little black things, im really hoping it wasn't bed bugs.... Eek!

To complete my stay, this room came with a broken toilet seat, you would at least attempt to seat down and it would swing the other way!!

This people should be ashamed to present rooms like these and Chocie Hotels should remove their name from this property!!

STAY AWAY!

Generally I avoid Econo lodge,prefer Comfort Inn or Quality Inn.However after reading the good reviews of this particular Econo lodge ( the Comfort Inn and Quality Inn had worse reviews ), we decided to book here.That proved to be a good decision as we found a pleasant staff,nice clean lobby and room.The breakfast was meagre- just coffee,bread,donuts and muffins but there are many great options for breakfast within walking distance outside the hotel.

The hotel is really what its name implies ... economy. For a quick stay where you aren't spending alot of time in your room its great. The staff is fabulous and they were extremely accomodating. We had our dog with us and it was no problem.

The continental breakfast was very basic but good. Everything was fresh and the coffee was good!

The beds were not really that comfortable, the towels were a bit rough and have seen better days and the sheets ( including bedspreads ) really need to be replaced. They were practically see through. However the room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the tv worked!

The location was great and was easy to find. If they could get better beds and linens it would improve this hotel dramatically.

When booking my room I mentioned that it was our Anniversary and the girl upgraded us to a room with a Hot tub. It was so nice!!! The rooms was clean and the staff were very polite, and always smiling. We have stayed here before and I recognized one of the girls from our stay the last time, and she was telling me that she has worked here for 14 years. That says something!!! The location is great, within walking distance to lots of restaurants and just a short drive to the main shopping centers.
We will definately be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our Anniversary special.
