I really appreciated the nighttime man at the front desk; super helpful and efficient. Well done. The rooms were totally what you would expect. Paper thin walls. We had to move the couch to fit a baby portable crib. Bad idea - old toilet paper wad behind. Yikes! Bathroom was somewhat clean as long as you didn't look too hard at the floor or shower. Definitely appreciated the microwave and mini fridge - didn't appreciate the giant non complimentary bottle of water.
Good location, near several restaurants and the highway. The breakfast as ordinary, the coffee was fair - there were free newspapers which was good. I would say the selection for the breakfast was actually a bit sparse compared to similar hotels, but they did have good scones so it didn't really matter. Two selections of cereal was weak though...
Our travelling companions had two cats and were smokers so they stayed in the pet smoking room on the other side of the hotel. They both came down with horrible colds for a week after staying there...so be aware. They said the room smelled like the worst smell ever.
